Have The 'C' Team Blown It ?

The 'C' team could only draw 2-2 at Meir 'B' last night. Although the draw takes them a point clear at the top of Division 4, Cheddleton 'E', their nearest challengers, are still unbeaten and have 2 matches in hand so must now be favourites for the title. Our top 2 boards, Derek and Geoff, were heavily outgraded and were always in for a tough fight that, on this occasion, they were unable to win. However, we are always difficult to beat on the bottom 2 boards and so it proved again with Jason and Mike coming away with the wins that gave us a share of the points.
