A Disappointing Night For The 'A' Team

It was a disappointing night for the 'A' team last night, going down by 3 - 2 against Holmes Chapel Knights in Division 2. This was a match that we had high hopes of winning but the late withdrawal of Neal Davies meant that the team wasn't quite as strong as we'd hoped. Geoff stepped into the breach and actually won his match but losses by Ray Hyde, in his home debut, and Mike Smith left us trailing. Draws for myself and Rob weren't enough to save the match. Rob had a very favourable endgame, which was probably won, but not enough time on his clock to go for it. You can click here to view the full match score card.
