Three Fenton players took part in this weekend's Shropshire Congress in Telford - Steven, Stuart and Derek all competing in the Minor Section.
Many congratulation to Steven, playing in his first ever Congress, who finished in joint 14th place out of 56 entrants with a score of 3/5. He was one of the lowest graded players in the tournament but scored 3 wins against much higher graded opponents to finish with a Tournament Grading of 127. Stuart and Derek both scored 2.5/5 to finish in joint 20th place.
