Friday Night 'D'isaster

Last night was a disaster for the 'D' team, going down by 2.5 - 1.5 at Cheddleton 'I' and, in the process, almost certainly throwing away our chance of winning the Division 5 title. We are now 3 points adrift of Meir 'D' and need to win our remaining 2 matches, and hope that Meir slip up in their final match, to have any chance. The only hope is that as our 'C' team are Meir's final opponents they can do the 'D' team a favour and go there and get something out of the match. In last night's match Jason lost to the same opponent for the second time in a couple of weeks and the remaining 3 matches were all drawn, although Stuart won a piece in his game on board 3 and then promptly offered his opponent a draw !!
