Fenton won last night's South Potteries Chess Challenge Cup in convincing style. A 5.5 - 2.5 win against Meir was the 6th year in succession that we have won it and we now lead by 6 - 5 in the series. Meir weren't helped by the fact that two of their stronger players were missing from their team. Congratulations to Kas Capatina on winning his debut competitive match for the club on board 8. On the other boards there were wins for Steve, Neal and Ernie, plus draws for Rob, Brian and Robert. Click here to view the full match score card.
