'D' isaster !!

Fenton 'D' managed to turn a 2.5 - 1.5 win into a 2.5 - 1.5 loss last night. Steven Walley failed to add up the grades properly and we ended up fielding an overgraded team in Division 5. The result of this was that Stuart's game on board 4, which he won, was awarded to Cheddleton, although the result stands for individual grading purposes. This is the second time this season that we have forfeited points because we have either fielded an ineligible player or an overgraded team. This is clearly not acceptable and highlights the need for Team Captains to be far more careful in their selections. Jason Plant made his first league appearance of the season last night and won his game on board 3.
