'A' Team Pipped Again But 'D' Team Get Good Win

The 'A' team were just pipped by a strong Cheddleton 'B' team last night, going down by 3-2. Glyn won his game on board 5 and there were draws for myself and Neal on boards 3 and 4. The 'D' team travelled up the road to Meir 'C' and came away with a 3.5 - 0.5 win. It could have been a whitewash but Stuart generously gave his opponent a draw on board 4 while a piece up. The other 3 points came from Mike, Ernie and Robert. Click here to view the match score card.
