There was only one Club Championship match tonight, with Glyn beating Ernie. It must have been in double quick time as Stuart reported the result to me just before 9:00. I'm assuming that Ernie didn't manage to get Glyn into an endgame, where his legendary technique would inevitably have tilted the scales !!
