Dylan played in the UK Chess Challenge Northern U14 GigaFinal in Manchester at the weekend. He got off to a great start, winning his opening 2 games but, unfortunately, the wheels came off after that and he could only manage 2 draws from his next 5 games to finish on 3/7. This left him in joint 27th place out of 47 entrants and meant he failed to qualify for the next stage of the competition.
